Benevolence

This ministry exists to help those in need understand Adonai's principles of
money management, transform the way money is used, and move past this
challenging situation. The Benevolence Ministry strives to establish and
maintain a caring, confidential program by providing emotional, spiritual,
and physical aid to those in the congregation and community.  According to
resources, we will provide the appropriate short term or long term
assistance required based upon the nature of submitted needs.

Regardless of the situation, Beth Adonai and the Benevolence Committee
are always available to offer spiritual guidance and assistance through
prayer and Biblical counsel and, if required, referrals to caring, qualified
Christian counselors.

Beth Adonai has also established a food pantry to help meet immediate
needs of hungry people.  The food pantry is supported by the individual
donations of those who attend Beth Adonai.  We encourage individuals to
use coupons to help our the food pantry.

No more excuses for not giving to the food pantry...when a jar of Ragu
Spaghetti Sauce is on sale for $1.50, and you have a coupon for .50 cents
off that is doubled to $1.00 off at your store, do you know what you have?
You have a 50-cent jar of spaghetti sauce you can donate to the pantry.....

intended to be a temporary help during a time of crisis.  Those requesting
assistance must also be willing to receive financial, family, and/or
emotional counseling.

Those requesting help must be willing to give the Benevolence Committee

The Benevolence Ministry operates on an annual budget and may be limited
as to how much monetary assistance can be provided.
